Despite her fear, Ellie had not lost hope in humans.<\/p>\n<p>Quick to act, the rescuer contacted a local animal shelter for assistance. When I hugged and kissed her, she started to cry.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For Ellie, this was a new experience of being cared for and loved. This insight provided clarity on her fear of broom-like objects.<\/p>\n<p>Ellie was prescribed anti-inflammatory medication and started receiving physiotherapy sessions with hopes of regaining her ability to walk.
