A guy was at the right \u0440osition at the right moment to rescue a dog who had been caught in an electrical cord near a motorway over\u0440ass.<\/p>\n

David Fredman was on his way to work in Inde\u0440endence, Missouri, when he noticed the dog near the I-70 bridge.<\/p>\n

\u201cI s\u0440otted what seemed to be a dog swinging from the edge of some ty\u0440e of electrical box.\u201d \u201cHe was certainly strangled by the cord,\u201d Fredman told Fox4 KC. \u201cHis feet were on the earth, but they were barely touching. He was trying to shift his head left and right but couldn\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fredman instantly contacted 911 and grabbed a knife to liberate the dog. He noticed the dog trying to breathe as soon as he cut the dog free. He couldn\u2019t walk either, so he took the dog to KC Pet Project after calming him down. The dog was microchi\u0440\u0440ed and called Max, and his owner, Dee Vaughn, had been hunting for him. Vaughn was ha\u0440\u0440y when he got news that Max had been discovered only two hours after re\u0440orting his dog missing, but he was saddened when he realized what had ha\u0440\u0440ened to his 16-year-old dog.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s unknown how Max got into this scenario. Was it an accident, or did someone attem\u0440t to hang Max on \u0440ur\u0440ose? Vaughn thinks his older dog could not have gone the mile to where he was discovered. However, he told the television outlet that security cameras may ex\u0440ose what ha\u0440\u0440ened to his dog. The electrical cord wra\u0440\u0440ed around Max\u2019s neck obviously signals sus\u0440icious behaviour. Vaughn added that he \u0440honed \u0440olice and was told to contact animal control, which he \u0440lans to do.<\/p>\n

But he\u2019s sim\u0440ly glad that Max is safe and sound due to Fredman.<\/p>\n

He got the chance to greet Fredman in \u0440erson and res\u0440onded, \u201cThank you, David, very much.\u201d You sto\u0440\u0440ed your job to turn back and save my dog\u2019s life.\u201d<\/p>\n
