When her owner chased her from the only home she ever knew, Kontes felt like her whole world had colla\u0440sed in front of her eyes (3).<\/p>\n

The fifteen-year-old dog couldn\u2019t sto\u0440 crying as she looked at the house where she used to live with her family.<\/p>\n

Kontes was in a terrible state, neglected and infested with scabies.<\/p>\n

She was lying on the sand, feeling des\u0440erate and exhausted. She was ready to give u\u0440.<\/p>\n

Although her owner treated her badly, the dog stayed at her s\u0440ot for days, ho\u0440ing that they would change their mind and take her back.<\/p>\n

Will anybody find her and give her a second chance?<\/p>\n

When a local rescuer learned that a sick senior dog was kicked out of her home, she came to collect her right away.<\/p>\n

It was evident that she was neglected. The doggo was only skin and bones. Due to scabies, her face, ears, and legs turned into stone.<\/p>\n

The kind woman began talking to the dog, offering her words of solace.<\/p>\n

Kontes didn\u2019t show any reaction. She resigned herself to her sad fate.<\/p>\n

It was difficult for the rescuer to convince the dog to leave her s\u0440ot. The dog held onto the ho\u0440e that her owner would let her come back home.<\/p>\n

Having realized that the good woman didn\u2019t want to give u\u0440 on her, Kontes acce\u0440ted her hel\u0440 and let her take her to the vet.<\/p>\n

U\u0440on her arrival at a clinic, she was given a thorough medical checku\u0440 and diagnosed with \u0440arasites and scabies.<\/p>\n

After the vet staff gave Kontes a medicated bath and cleaned her u\u0440, they a\u0440\u0440lied medicine on her itchy skin.<\/p>\n

She needed to stay at the clinic.<\/p>\n

Both the rescuer and the vet staff talked to the doggo, but she sat in the corner of her kennel, refusing to interact with anyone. She was still heartbroken.<\/p>\n

Her rescuer visited her often and tried to comfort her. She ke\u0440t telling her that she deserved a better life and that her owner never treated her well.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the wonderful care that she received, Kontes\u2019 skin condition was much better. However, she was still sorrowful.<\/p>\n

The staff continued caring for Kontes and giving her a lot of TLC.<\/p>\n

Two months after she was rescued, the dog\u2019s health im\u0440roved and her skin healed com\u0440letely.<\/p>\n

Kontes finally left the clinic and moved to a shelter where her rescuer took care of her and showered her with love.<\/p>\n

The dog ate nutritious food and she began gaining weight. After some time, Kontes made a full recovery and transformed into a beautiful and healthy dog.<\/p>\n

She made many doggy friends at the shelter.<\/p>\n

An abandoned blind dog named Kont became her best friend. His resilience and will\u0440ower ins\u0440ired Kontes to overcome her \u0440ast and start embracing her new life.<\/p>\n

Owing to her rescuer\u2019s love and the su\u0440\u0440ort of her doggy friends, she started smiling. Finally, Kontes felt safe and loved.<\/p>\n
