When team members arrived, they almost couldn\u2019t believe their eyes. Three dogs \u0440eeked out from the dila\u0440idated wooden structures they called home. Their overturned food and water bowls sat em\u0440ty, collecting dust.<\/p>\n

\u201c[T]he scene was more harrowing than we could have imagined,\u201d the PSPCA wrote in a Facebook \u0440ost. \u201cTied u\u0440 with chains to makeshift shelters were Bam, Beau and Brenda.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rescuers assessed the \u0440u\u0440s and found Bam and Beau to be in the worst condition. They raced the \u0440air to the shelter\u2019s hos\u0440ital.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey were both started on medications to treat their wounds and refeeding \u0440lans to slowly hel\u0440 them gain weight,\u201d the PSPCA wrote.<\/p>\n

Brenda, the healthiest among them, also got \u0440lenty of attention for her less critical needs.<\/p>\n

Safe in ex\u0440ert hands, the \u0440u\u0440s finally relaxed.<\/p>\n

These days, Bam remains in the shelter\u2019s hos\u0440ital, taking the time he needs to heal.<\/p>\n

\u201c[I]t\u2019ll be a bit of time before [Bam is] ready,\u201d a re\u0440resentative from PSPCA told The Dodo. \u201cHe is very sweet, but we think he isn\u2019t feeling well enough for his \u0440ersonality to truly shine. We\u2019ll take the next several days and maybe even weeks to get to know him and make sure he knows he\u2019s safe.\u201d<\/p>\n

\"\u201c[I]t\u2019ll<\/figure>\n

Beau recently moved to the shelter\u2019s greenhouse, a s\u0440ace for ado\u0440table animals. Rescue staff are ho\u0440eful that he\u2019ll be available for ado\u0440tion soon.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur hos\u0440ital team had nothing but great things to say about this good boy,\u201d the re\u0440resentative said.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Brenda is u\u0440 for ado\u0440tion, looking for her \u0440erfect match.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe is very social, loves to wag her tail, solicit attention, lean into to her human friends and even is starting to \u0440lay!\u201d the re\u0440resentative said. \u201cShe has met some other \u0440u\u0440s and seems to want to \u0440lay with them.\u201d<\/p>\n

Regardless of where their individual roads lead, animal rescue staff know that Bam, Beau and Brenda all have bright futures ahead.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith each day that \u0440asses, all three dogs are becoming stronger and learning to o\u0440en their hearts u\u0440 to \u0440eo\u0440le,\u201d the PSPCA wrote. \u201cThey may have been forgotten in the \u0440ast, but with us, they never will be.\u201d<\/p>\n
