At first, Joy was cautious and nervous, easily startled by unfamiliar sounds and wary of human touch.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His reaction revealed the deep scars left by abandonment. The timid dog who once flinched at the slightest noise now wagged his tail energetically, a picture of happiness and vitality.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Watching Joy\u2019s journey from fear to trust was incredibly fulfilling.
